  144.      was recorded.  This option was changed to "Husband/Wife".  The
  145.      "Spouse" option still exists, but it now searches for persons that

  148.      Change - Added the new version (v2.2) of the Tiny Tafel Editor.

  150.      Change - Made adjustments to the index routines so that buffers
  151.      are flushed after each save.  Runtime errors could later occur if

  156.      individual with more than one spouse may not have the spouses

  240.      Change - The indexing structure has been completely rewritten.
  241.      Indexes are updated automatically now, making reindexing
  242.      unnecessary.

  245.      records.  All adding, deleting, linking, and unlinking of records

  248.      New feature / Change - Added the ability to link any number of
  249.      "events" to a person.  Many events are already defined and you may
  250.      create your own event types.  Census, Immigration, Passenger List,
  251.      Event 1 (Baptism), Event 2 (Christening), and Achievement
  252.      information (from the Miscellaneous Info screen) have been moved to
  253.      this area of the program.

  255.      New feature - Added a sophisticated source recording system.  Any
  256.      number of source citations can now be attached to most fields in
  257.      the program.  Repository information can also be recorded for
  258.      source records.  It will automatically print them in bibliographic
  259.      form on many reports.

  261.      New feature - Added a "cause of death" field.

  263.      Change - Changed the backup and restore feature.  It is now much
  264.      easier to use and the best way to trade your data with other FSB

  271.      New feature - A Document Filer was added to help you keep track

  297.      This update contains mostly cosmetic changes to reports and screens

  299.      printing the dreaded pound sign that many users in the UK have

  302.      New feature - The Lineage Charts and Relationship Diagrams can now
  303.      optionally print shadows under the boxes.  Your printer must be
  304.      able to backspace for this to work.

  306.      New feature - The Register Charts can now be viewed on the screen.
  307.      There is also a new option for printing in 10cpi mode versus 17cpi
  308.      mode (compressed).

  310.      Change - Several adjustments were made to the Tiny Tafel Generator
  311.      that should help make the TT's more compatible with the Tafel
  312.      Matching System.  Additionally, when generating a TT, it will use
  313.      the place information for a previous person when the current person
  314.      has no place information entered.  This is to reduce the number of
  315.      "Unknown" places that will be in the TT.  For many surnames, this
  316.      will mean less work for the user when editing the TT.

  553.      Database.  This will sort the children by their birth dates.

  563.      New feature - Added an Alt-K (kids) command to the person database

  565.      children.

  567.      New feature - Added a Ctrl-N (delete note file) command to the
  568.      person and family databases.

  570.      New feature - The person database now displays the family record
  571.      number of the family where a person was born.

  574.      This code specifies that the couple's marriage was annulled.

  576.      New feature - Added an Alt-U (update history) command the the
  577.      person and family databases.  It displays a list of the records

  579.      scrapbook.

  581.      Bug fix - It no longer conflicts with SHARE.

  583.      Bug fix - Fixed a problem with the searchwindow no-records error
  584.      box.  It could eat up memory and abend the program if it was

  588.      can now handle up to 24 children per record.  (it was 16)

  593.      Bug fix - The record stacks are now adjusted when a record is
  594.      deleted.  This would only cause problems if you trid to Alt-B
  595.      (backup) to a deleted record.

  597.      Change - I will no longer use LZEXE on the EXE files.  A user had
  598.      trouble with the only version that used it (v1.05).  I don't know
  599.      if this was the culprit.  I'm just eliminating the unknowns...  I
  600.      hated to drop it...it's a great program.

  602.      Change - The program will no longer automatically create new data
  603.      files if the configuration file (CONFIG.DAT) is missing.  It will
  604.      inform you of the situation and ask you what to do.  There is also
  605.      an option to create a new configuration file without creating the
  606.      other files.

  608.      Bug fix - The sorted lists, persons by baptisms, christenings, and
  609.      place codes, will now properly exit to the menu if you aborted it
  610.      from reporting to the screen.

  612.      Bug fix - The program won't mess up now if you decide to jump
  613.      around in the person database while temporarily out of the family
  614.      database (F8-edit or F9-add person).

  616.      Bug fix - Gedcom:  The strip-blank-lines-from-notes function now

  646.      New feature - Blank Charts/Forms: You may now specify the printer's

  650.      direct foreign character input.  This makes Family Scrapbook more

  787.      older versions of Family Scrapbook will notice a difference in the
  788.      print margins.  This is a side-effect of trying to support other
  789.      printers.  I'm still trying to scheme up a way to better handle

  793.      of printer manuals and not from actually testing them on the
